This app note covers situations where a local DHCP server is not available during initial setup, which can prevent the IXGW-TGW from connecting to AiphoneCloud.
Remote Management is a service provided by AiphoneCloud. It allows users to program and manage an IX | IXG Series system from anywhere with an internet connection. Before getting started, a few things need to be taken care of.
An IXGW-GW or IXGW-TGW mobile app gateway is required to use Remote Management.
Connect all intercoms to the same network as the gateway. It is best to connect them to the same PoE switch for initial programming.
Make sure the gateway has an external network connection so it can access AiphoneCloud.
Make a note of the model and MAC address of each station to help with future steps.
Once the preliminary work is done, navigate to https://aiphone.cloud. Log in or create an account.
After logging in, navigate to Remote Management on the left-hand menu. If a new account was created, click Request Branch Membership. This will send an email to Aiphone, notifying the appropriate employees. Programming cannot progress until this request is completed.
If the account is part of a site, the Remote Management page will display the existing sites, if there are any. Either click Login to IXG Portal Account if there is an existing account for the user, or click Register Account to create a new one. Once that is done, click + Create New Site.
Fill out the necessary information, and click Continue.
Select whether the site is Commercial or Multi-Tenant. Commercial sites are used for single sites, since as an office or a campus where all calls go to a single location. Multi-tenant sites contain multiple suites that are isolated from each other.
Also select whether the IXGW-GW or IXGW-TGW is already connected to an existing site. Click Create Site.
This will complete initial setup for the site. Click Register Gateway to enter the programming wizard, which will guide the user through the rest of system setup.

Inviting Property Managers to a Remote Management Site
Once an IX | IXG Series site has been configured in Remote Management, dealers are able to add end users as property managers. Property managers are able to perform functions such as moving tenants in and out or registering mobile apps. Assigning property managers frees up dealers to focus on technical matters and other clients.
Before getting started, the dealer will need the property manager’s email address. Be aware that a dealer can only add one property manager to a site. Once registered, the property management branch will be able to invite additional property management users to the site.
To add a Property Manager to your site, navigate to https://aiphone.cloud/remotemanagement and log in with your credentials. If prompted, log into your Branch’s IXG Portal account.
Select the desired site from the list of sites under your account. On the next page, click +Invite Site User.
Navigate to Site Administrators on the left side menu.
A pop-up window will appear. Click Property Manager as the type of user, then fill in the user’s email.
Click the drop-down under Role to assign what features they can access.
Basic property managers are able to manage tenant information and enroll mobile app users.
Advanced property managers are able to make significant changes, including adding and removing intercom stations and units and controlling call settings.
Select the appropriate role for the user and click Invite.
The invite will show up as pending on the Site Administrators page until the user has completed account registration. They will receive an email from no-reply@aiphone.cloud with instructions to complete their end of the registration process. If the email does not seem to arrive, have them check their account’s spam folder. They can click Log in to your account to register.
Once they are registered, the newly minted property manager is free to make changes to the site.
