Remote Management is a service provided by AiphoneCloud. It allows users to program and manage an IX | IXG Series system from anywhere with an internet connection. Before getting started, a few things need to be taken care of.
An IXGW-GW or IXGW-TGW mobile app gateway is required to use Remote Management.
Connect all intercoms to the same network as the gateway. It is best to connect them to the same PoE switch for initial programming.
Make sure the gateway has an external network connection so it can access AiphoneCloud.
Make a note of the model and MAC address of each station to help with future steps.
Once the preliminary work is done, navigate to https://aiphone.cloud. Log in or create an account.
After logging in, navigate to Remote Management on the left-hand menu. If a new account was created, click Request Branch Membership. This will send an email to Aiphone, notifying the appropriate employees. Programming cannot progress until this request is completed.
If the account is part of a site, the Remote Management page will display the existing sites, if there are any. Either click Login to IXG Portal Account if there is an existing account for the user, or click Register Account to create a new one. Once that is done, click + Create New Site.
Fill out the necessary information, and click Continue.
Select whether the site is Commercial or Multi-Tenant. Commercial sites are used for single sites, since as an office or a campus where all calls go to a single location. Multi-tenant sites contain multiple suites that are isolated from each other.
Also select whether the IXGW-GW or IXGW-TGW is already connected to an existing site. Click Create Site.
This will complete initial setup for the site. Click Register Gateway to enter the programming wizard, which will guide the user through the rest of system setup.
Note: AiphoneCloud and Remote Management are dynamic services, and future updates may change the appearance of some items.
This guide goes over creating an account in the IXG Portal, and other initial setup steps.

Adding a Third-Party Camera’s Stream Profile Token
In order to add a camera to an IX | IXG Series system programmed in Remote Management, the camera’s Stream Profile Token will need to be manually entered into Remote Management.
The camera’s token may be listed in the device’s support or instruction manual. It may also be available on the manufacturer’s website.
If the key is not available from first-party sources, it can be found by using a third-party discovery tool like ONVIF® Device Manager, a free utility. Be sure that whatever software solution used is permitted by the local network administrator.
Once the key has been found, navigate to the site in Remote Management. On the left menu of the site’s main screen, select ONVIF / IP Camera.
If the camera has already been added besides entering the token, click the three dots next to its name. To add a new camera from scratch, click + Add Camera.
Fill in any missing information and click Save.
If the camera was newly added, click the check boxes under each station listed to add it to its address book. Repeat these steps for each camera to be added.
Once all settings are entered, click Site Detail to return to the main page.
Click Upload Station Settings to complete the process.
