Our role is built on a relationship the CN Tower has trusted for many years. When the time came to prepare the Tower for the future, the goal was to find a path forward that could meet current needs while respecting the integrity of the landmark. It is a modernization approach that Aiphone understands deeply. While a traditional upgrade would have required far more invasive changes across the Tower, Aiphone supported the transition to the IX | IXG Series by using 2-wire to IP converters that made it possible to upgrade the system while continuing using its existing cabling.
Across the CN Tower property, Aiphone supports communication in several important ways. From access points throughout the Tower to one of the highest publicly accessible points in the world, Aiphone intercoms help control entry and communication where it matters most. Additionally, Aiphone is part of the guest support experience, including a blue light assistance call box outside of the Tower. Together, these applications reflect the important role of dependable communication plays in supporting both daily operations and the overall guest experience.
