How to Program NFC Cards to Release the Door on a Multi-button GT Entrance Station

Summary

Setting up NFC access cards for a standard multi-button entrance station (non-digital displays) using the free Aiphone GT Setup Tool for Android® phones with NFC capability.

 

Solution

Before beginning this procedure, the GT Series will need to be completely installed and programmed for regular visitor call and access. You will also need the GT Setup Tool downloaded and installed on the mobile phone which will be used for the programming process.

 

  1. Open the GT Setup Tool app. Select Download Setting By NFC.
  2. Select Admin and OK. From the authentication screen enter *1111, then press OK.
  3. Hold the phone to the NFC reader on the GT-DB-VN until the app displays “Download Succeeded”.
  4. When notified download is complete, press the 3 bars at the top right of the screen and select save from the drop down list.
  5. Enter a file name for the job and tap OK.
  6. From the home page in the app, scroll down to Entrance and tap Access Code.
  7. Tap line 1 from the Access Code list.
  8. Tap Access Code Type.
  9. Tap NFC Card ID.
  10. Tap Access Code/NFC Card ID.
  11. Tap the NFC icon.
  12. Hold the NFC card to the phone.
  13. After the card has been read, tap OK.
  14. Repeat steps 7-13 for each NFC card to be registered.

  15. Tap the 3 bars in the top corner of the screen and tap Save.
  16. Tap the 3 bars in the top corner of the screen and tap Upload.
  17. Enter the authentication code (*1111) and tap OK.
  18. Hold the phone to the NFC reader on the GT-DB-VN until the app displays “Upload Succeeded”.
At this point you can begin testing your access cards.
