Summary

"Capacity is full" error message when IS-SOFT receives an incoming call or attempts to manually call a video door station.

Solution

When an IS-IP Series door station calls into IS-SOFT, and the directory of recorded video and audio is beyond the limits of the max recording space, this error will occur.
Option 1
Change the directory where the recorded video and audio is saved.
Option 2
Increase the Max Recording Space.     [post_title] => IS-SOFT "Capacity is full" Error [post_excerpt] => [post_status] => publish [comment_status] => open [ping_status] => open [post_password] => [post_name] => is-soft-capacity-is-full-error [to_ping] => [pinged] => [post_modified] => 2025-03-12 08:40:38 [post_modified_gmt] => 2025-03-12 15:40:38 [post_content_filtered] => [post_parent] => 0 [guid] => https://aiphone.local/kb/is-soft-capacity-is-full-error/ [menu_order] => 0 [post_type] => kb [post_mime_type] => [comment_count] => 0 [filter] => raw ) [2] => WP_Post Object ( [ID] => 36914 [post_author] => 23 [post_date] => 2021-08-10 20:56:33 [post_date_gmt] => 2021-08-11 03:56:33 [post_content] =>

Adding an IS-SOFT Client to an Existing System

Summary

Programming steps on how to add a new station to an existing system.

Solution

Adding a new station to an existing system requires logging into both the host and the new client station. Make sure you have the IP address, username and, password available.

Configure the New Client Station (IS-SOFT)

  1. Fill out the Network Setting page with the required information:
    • Host unit IP Address
    • Connection Port
    • Connection Password
    • License key
  2. Click SAVE.

Log into the Host Station

  1. Select IP unit registration from the menu on the left.
  2. Scroll down and click IP unit search. The search results will appear in a table below. (If the PC master station does not appear in the search, add it to the list manually)
  3. Check the station(s) to be added, then click Add to the imported IP units list.
  4. Click Port number auto-setting to assign the required ports to all added stations.
  5. Temporarily store the data and select Registering stations from the menu on the left.
  6. Enter a Station number and Station name for the newly added station(s).
  7. Temporarily store the data and select Advanced station settings from the menu on the left.
  8. To program the door station(s) to call the newly added PC master station, check the corresponding box and click Advanced settings.
  9. Select Called stations, followed by Reference.
  10. Check the master station(s) to be called by the door station, then select Close until you are back to the main Advanced station settings window.
  11. Temporarily store the data and select Updating the system from the menu on the left.
  12. Click Update to update the host with all stored data. The system will reboot and return to the language selection screen when complete.
Depending on the amount of data and changes stored, the reboot could take up to 10 minutes.
